L’Intersyndicale des travailleurs de la Sde menace de perturber le réseau de distribution de l’eau sur toute l’étendue du pays à compter de ce jour, date d’expiration de son préavis de grève. L’intersyndicale demande à ce que 15% des parts dans le capital de la nouvelle société soient octroyés aux travailleurs en lieu est place des 5% proposés. Pour Élimane Diouf, les travailleurs, à l’unanimité, ont rejeté cette proposition jugée dérisoire. Devant cette situation, l’Intersyndicale avertit et soutient qu’elle usera de tous les moyens de lutte pour pousser la tutelle à respecter ses engagements. Ces derniers n’excluent pas de priver du précieux liquide les consommateurs sénégalais, car le combat sera national.
