L’Intersyndicale des travailleurs de la Sde menace de perturber le réseau de distribution de l’eau sur toute l’étendue du pays à compter de ce jour, date d’expiration de son préavis de grève. Il s’agit pour ces travailleurs, de dénoncer l’attitude de la tutelle, à savoir le ministre de l’hydraulique, qui tarde à respecter ses engagements vis-à-vis des travailleurs.
Ces travailleurs étaient face à la presse hier après midi. Selon leur coordonnateur, Élimane Diouf, aucune décision n’a été prise depuis la dernière rencontre avec le ministre Mansour Faye concernant les points discutés. «Sur le mémorandum que nous avons déposé il y a eu certes des avancées sur, par exemple le capital, la représentation des travailleurs dans le conseil d’administration, les acquis, entre autres. Mais le grand hic c’est sur la formalisation de ce Pv qui a sanctionné la réunion du 6 février».
L’intersyndicale demande à ce que 15% des parts dans le capital de la nouvelle société soient octroyés aux travailleurs en lieu est place des 5% proposés. Pour Élimane Diouf, les travailleurs, à l’unanimité, ont rejeté cette proposition jugée dérisoire. Devant cette situation, l’Intersyndicale avertit et soutient qu’elle usera de tous les moyens de lutte pour pousser la tutelle à respecter ses engagements. Ces derniers n’excluent pas de priver du précieux liquide les consommateurs sénégalais, car le combat sera national.
