Selon L’AS, les ministères de l’Agriculture, de l’Élevage et de la Pêche seront les premiers à s’installer sur le nouveau site. Les ministres Oumar Guèye, Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye et Papa Abdoulaye Seck, avec leurs collaborateurs, vont donc rejoindre la ville nouvelle avant la grosse vague attendue un mois plus tard. Inaugurées mercredi 2 mai, les sphères de Diamniadio ont coûté 56 milliards francs Cfa.
