La vie d’Assane Diouf est véritablement en danger. Sa libération le met dans une situation problématique. Il faut dire que le geste du procureur de la République, consistant à ordonner sa libération, a créé un effet de surprise.
Il n’a pas une seule fois hésité à aller prendre Oulèye Mané, Ami Collé Dieng ou Penda Ba, qui ont à peu près fait la même chose qu’Assane Diouf, sinon à des doses moindres. Et les procédures judiciaires ont toujours été conduites de bout en bout.
Tout le monde sait que Assane a franchi les limites. Au delà du chef de l’Etat, l’Institution suprême, l’insulteur s’est attaqué à des citoyens lambdas. Son comportement n’est pas à encourager. Sinon, place à la loi de la jungle où les plus faibles sont piétinés, et sans conséquence.
Il est clair que les victimes de l’insulteur peuvent le poursuivre en justice. Mais est-il prudent de le laisser en liberté ? Sa vie est en danger. Assane s’est autant attaqué à des individuels qu’à des croyances religieuses – chose que notre Constitution interdit-. La Police avait pourtant publié un communiqué où elle explique que la vie du rapatrié est menacé. Il avait fallu qu’une intelligente stratégie soit déployée pour l’extraire de l’Aéroport Lss lors de son arrivée.
“Nous avons pris cette décision pour le protéger des yeux, le mettre à l’abri. Mais aussi, pour sa sécurité qui nous tenait à cœur (…) Nous avons pris toutes les dispositions sécuritaires pour que rien ne lui arrive. Sa sécurité était fondamentale pour nous (…) L’aéroport était plein de monde et on ne savait pas qui était qui”.
Ce communiqué montre clairement qu’il y a de quoi s’inquiéter pour la vie d’Assane Diouf. Nous osons cependant croire que les Autorités sont très avisées de cette situation et que des dispositions idoines sont prises pour bien gérer le cas Assane Diouf.
