Youssou Touré préfère quitter la tête du Réseau des enseignants de l’Apr, plutôt que de persister dans la rivalité avec Amath Suzanne Camara. “Ils veulent le réseau, ils n’ont qu’à le prendre”. C’est la résolution qu’il a finalement prise, tout en informant qu’il va proposer au chef de l’Etat son retrait à la tête dudit réseau d’enseignants. Il précise cependant que cela n’est pas une démission, mais simplement que le réseau l’a desservi plus qu’il ne l’a servi.
“Ils (Amath Suzanne Camara et Cie) veulent le réseau, ils n’ont qu’à le prendre. Mais c’est le président de la République qui décidera en dernier. Il a la prérogative politique de designer qui doit être à la tête du réseau. C’est pourquoi je me décharge de cette fonction en ayant des réserves. Mais nous disons d’ores et déjà que nous n’avons aucune fixation sur le réseau et essayerons de partager cette information avec le Président Macky Sall”, a dit Youssoupha Touré.
