Oyewo, un homme âgé de 67 ans issu de la communauté de Manfile dans le Haut Gaa Akanbi, Llorin dans la région sud de l’État de Kwara, au Nigeria, s’est marié à une certaine Yetunde et ils ont eu une fille, Esther, 4 ans.
Le mariage a malheureusement été célébré, en 1992, Oyewo s’est remarié avec une autre femme nommée Feyisayo. Lorsque Esther, sa fille a eu 15 ans, elle est allée vivre avec son père, et sa nouvelle femme, qui était une femme d’affaires. Mais cette dernière était souvent loin de la maison, à cause de ses occupations.
C’est ainsi que naquit une relation incestueuse entre le père et sa fille. Intervenant dans le média Saturday Sun, Esther, aujourd’hui âgée de 39 ans, a rappelé comment cette histoire sordide a commencé.
Mon père est rentré à la maison une nuit. J’étais endormie quand il m’a réveillée et m’a demandé si j’avais pris mon bain. J’ai dit non. Puis il m’a demandé de me baigner avec lui et je l’ai rejoint innocemment. Dans la salle de bain, il a commencé à toucher mes parties sensibles. Irritée, je lui ai d’abord résisté, mais quand je ne pouvais plus me retenir, j’étais excitée et j’ai répondu à ses attouchements. Nous l’avons fait dans la salle de bain. Plus tard, cela est devenu une habitude. J’avais peur, mais parce que je n’avais nulle part où aller, je l’ai enduré.
La relation incestueuse a causé la première grossesse d’Esther. Elle a plus tard donné naissance à un enfant qui n’a pas survécu après sa naissance dans des circonstances mystérieuses.
La relation honteuse s’est poursuivie. La fille innocente est tombée enceinte de son père la deuxième fois et a eu un autre enfant qu’ils ont baptisé Oreoluwa. La famille et les amis ont ensuite chassé le père et la fille. Le couple a quitté la maison familiale pour s’installer dans leur demeure actuelle dans la région de Manfile dans le haut Gaa Akanbi. Fait mystérieux, le deuxième enfant qui était en bonne santé, tomba soudainement malade et mourut à son tour dans leur nouvel appartement.
Après ce fait, le père entra dans une colère noire et décida de partir. Jusqu’à maintenant il n’est plus revenu. Et pendant ce temps, Esther est atteinte d’une maladie étrange, dont la nature est cachée au public. Mais une organisation non gouvernementale (ONG) l’assiste.
En larmes, elle a dit :
Je pensais que ce que je faisais était normal, et pourtant je commettais un grand crime
