Une affiche pour le dépistage du cancer du sein fait polémique. Ses détracteurs la jugent trop sexiste.
Dans la salle d’attente des cabinets médicaux des Bouches du Rhône, certains ont ri jaune. En cause, une affiche placardée sur les murs destinée à promouvoir le dépistage du cancer du sein par un dessin humoristique. Problème, l’illustration passe mal : ses détracteurs la jugent de mauvais goût et critiquent une “sexualisation inappropriée”. Que voit-on sur le dessin ? Une jeune femme est en train de passer une mammographie en mini-jupe et talons hauts rose, soutien-gorge au bras. Elle demande au médecin “Déjà fini docteur ?” dans une pose sensuelle, mains sur les hanches. L’affiche date de 2015 et émane de l’association Arcades, collectif dépistage des cancers dans les Bouches-du-Rhône. Celle-ci a été réutilisée à l’occasion d’Octobre rose, mois de sensibilisation au cancer du sein. Le “poster” est destiné à encourager le dépistage du cancer du sein, alors qu'”une femme sur 8 est touchée par la maladie”. Mais le message de prévention n’est pas ce qui a retenu l’attention des Internautes. Posté sur les réseaux sociaux, le dessin, jugé sexiste, a provoqué un tollé. Le compte Twitter @Voteznon est le premier à avoir relayé l’affiche interpellant le département des Bouches du Rhône : “Dites @departement13, vous pensez qu’on se fait dépister pour une maladie mortelle ou qu’on tente de chauffer son petit copain ?”
