Le représentant-résident du Fonds monétaire international (Fmi) à Dakar, Boileau Loko, a appelé hier l’État du Sénégal à s’appuyer davantage sur l’investissement privé pour en faire un relais de la croissance et atteindre les objectifs du Plan Sénégal émergent (Pse) à l’horizon 2030. «Jusque-là, la croissance économique du Sénégal est surtout tirée par le secteur public, par l’investissement», a rappelé le repré- sentant résident du Fmi à Dakar, estimant que l’État sénégalais devrait ouvrir l’espace au secteur privé. Pour ce faire, M. Loko pense que les Pme et les Pmi doivent avoir l’espace et l’environnement [nécessaires], pour pouvoir se développer et créer des emplois. Ce qui permettra à tous ces jeunes à la recherche d’emploi de pouvoir trouver un emploi décent leur permettant de mieux vivre. Le représentant permanent du Fmi est d’avis que cette démarche contribuera au partage équitable des retombées de la croissance
