La Bm fluide le transport

La Banque mondiale a octroyé plus de 184 milliards FCFA (280,9 millions d’euros, soit 300 millions de dollars) au Sénégal pour un système de transport intelligent capable de déplacer 300 000 passagers par jour. Avec ce financement, les autorités comptent réduire de près de moitié la durée des trajets dans les transports publics, entre la préfecture de Guédiawaye et la gare routière de Petersen dans le centre de Dakar (18,3 kms) aux heures de pointe. Cet argent est destiné au Projet pilote de système de bus rapides sur voie réservée à Dakar (BRT). C’est hier que le Groupe de la Banque mondiale a approuvé le financement à Washington en présence du ministre des infrastructures, Mansour Elimane Kane.
