La Chambre criminelle du tribunal de Dakar a requis 15 ans de prison assortis de travaux forcés contre Valencio Domingos Lala, un étudiant bissau-guinéen accusé de trafic international de drogue et d’association de malfaiteurs.
Selon le quotidien Enquête, l’affaire remonte à 2013 quand Domingos Lala, étudiant au Brésil depuis 2011, revient via Dakar dans son pays pour y passer ses vacances de Noël. Il ne verra pas Bissau car à l’aéroport international Léopold Sédar Senghor de Dakar, les limiers de l’Office central pour la répression du trafic illicite des stupéfiants (OCRTIS) se rendent compte qu’il a dans son ventre 53 boulettes de cocaïne.
A la barre, Valencio Domingos Lala fournit ses explications : «Je voulais passer les vacances en Guinée-Bissau. Moussa et deux autres Nigérians m’ont demandé de convoyer 53 boulettes. Je reconnais avoir transporté, mais je pensais que c’étaient des médicaments. Elles étaient contenues dans un sachet blanc».
Cette version a été battue en brèche par le substitut du Procureur qui a soutenu que c’est à cause de son comportement que Lala a éveillé des soupçons chez les éléments de l’OCRTIS lesquels, flairant quelque chose de louche, ont opté de le conduire à l’hôpital.
Sur place, l’étudiant a expulsé 52 sur les 53 boulettes de cocaïne. Mise à jour par le scanner corporel, la dernière boulette n’a pu être extraite du ventre de Domingos, malgré dix jours d’hospitalisation.
Selon le parquet qui requiert 15 ans de travaux forcés, Valencio Domingos Lala est un récidiviste, car il a déjà transporté par le même procédé 60 boulettes de cocaïne.
Le verdict a été mis en délibéré jusqu’au 7 novembre prochain.
