Un homme de 33 ans a trouvé la mort dans un braquage intervenu jeudi en fin de matinée sur la route de Nyassia, à hauteur du village de Bafican, dans la région de Ziguinchor (sud), a-t-on appris de sources concordantes.
Des invidividus non identifiés avaient arrêté vers 11 heures plusieurs véhicules sur cet axe routier, immobilisant conducteurs et passagers avant de les déposséder de leurs biens, a-t-on rapporté.
“La personne qui a été tuée a tenté de fuir. Les gens armés ont tiré vers sa direction. Elle n’a pas été touchée par les balles, mais il a perdu le contrôle de sa moto et a heurté un arbre avant de décéder sur le coup”, a-t-on précisé.
“Il s’agit d’une mort accidentelle parce que la personne a perdu le contrôle (de son engin) avant de heurter un arbre’’, a ajouté une source administrative, selon laquelle la victime, née en 1985, habite Ziguinchor.
Deux autres personnes blessées, dont l’un de race blanche et âgé de 72 ans, ont été admises aux urgences à l’hôpital régional de Ziguinchor.
“Nous ne pouvons pas dire que le Blanc qui est blessé soit un touriste ou pas. Il y a beaucoup de Blancs qui habitent le site de Cap-Skrring et qui ont la nationalité sénégalaise. Pour le moment nous ne savons pas sa nationalité”, a indiqué une autre source qui s’est rendue sur les lieux de l’accident.
