Le sieur A. B Diaw se disant Directeur de la société Diaw Global Consulting (DGC) a des soucis à se faire. Le quidam n’a rien trouvé de mieux à faire que d’user de manœuvres frauduleuses pour tromper la bonne foi du patron de Bara Mboup Electronique (BME), en l’occurrence le nommé Serigne Mboup. Pour bien ferrer sa victime avec qui il avait signé une convention de partenariat, il avait introduit auprès de ce dernier un dossier relativement à l’équipement de quelque 9 de ses employés.
A l’en croire, ces derniers désiraient prendre en crédit du matériel électroménager dans son établissement, alors qu’il n’en est rien. Sans arrière pensée, Serigne Mboup a fait livrer un lot de matériel qui était constitué entre autres de réfrigérateurs, congélateurs et climatiseurs à son nouveau client. Le sieur A . B. Diaw, après avoir leurré le Directeur de Bara Mboup Électronique (BME), a tout simplement vendu ce lot de matériel à des employés d’une société de transport de la place en lui faisant croire que c’était ses employés. C’est plus tard que le pot aux roses a été découvert au moment ou Serigne Mboup devait faire le point avec son client. Contre toute attente, A. B. Diaw étant conscient qu’il venait de rouler dans la farine le patron de BME, est devenu subitement injoignable.
Serigne Mboup déterminé à entrer dans ses fonds a changé de fusil d’épaule en usant de stratagèmes pour lui mettre la main dessus. Cette stratégie a bien marché puisqu’elle a permis d’interpeller le faux type. C’est sur ces entrefaites qu’il a été conduit à la Commissariat central de Dakar aux fins de tirer cette affaire au claire. Soumis au feu roulant des enquêteurs de la Sûreté urbaine, le mis en cause a cherché à nouveau tromper les hommes du Commissaire Dramé. Mais c’était mal connaître ces teigneux policiers qui ont vite déjoué son plan. Le dos au mur, A B. Diaw est finalement passé à table, en avouant avoir roulé dans la farine en remettant à Serigne Mboup un faux chèque d’une valeur de 13.795.727 Cfa, à retirer dans une banque de la place, alors qu’il savait que son compte dans ladite structure financière était clôturé depuis longtemps.
Les faits étant constant, il a décidé d’abattre sa dernière carte pour espérer échapper à la prison en avançant sur les sommes dues, la bagatelle de 3,7 millions Cfa. Malgré cet acompte, il a été placé en garde-à-vue puis déféré au parquet du procureur pour les faits d’escroquerie, de faux et usage et faux et émission de chèque sur un compte clôturé..
