Un pêcheur domicilié au quartier Diamaguène de Saint-Louis l’a échappé belle dans la journée du 29 avril dernier. Le sieur PDD, c’est son nom a failli être égorgé par des malfaiteurs au cimetière Marmyal de l’ancienne capitale du Sénégal. Selon des témoignages recueillis sur place, c’est au moment où la victime formulait des prières sur la tombe de sa mère que ces individus malintentionnés ont surgit de nulle part.
Armés de couteaux et de machettes, les malfaiteurs ont tenu en respect le pauvre PDD qu’ils ont voulu tout simplement décapiter. Ce dernier a été sauvé de justesse par des bonnes volontés qui étaient sur les lieux par hasard. Leur coup étant tombé à l’eau, ses bourreaux ne se sont pas fait prier pour prendre la poudre d’escampette en escaladant le mur de clôture du cimetière. Dans leur fuite en avant, ils ont abandonné sur place leur victime qui se tordait de douleur. Alertés, les sapeurs-pompiers se sont rendus sur place. Après les constatations d’usage, le nommé PDD a été évacué d’urgence au Centre hospitalier régional de Saint-Louis où il est toujours en observation.
Toutefois, selon une source médicale, son pronostic vital n’est pas engagé. Une enquête a été ouverte par les hommes du Commissaire Diarra pour déterminer les circonstances exactes de cette tentative de meurtre. Affaire à suivre….
