Après l’appel au dialogue du Président Sall qui n’a pas enthousiasmé l’opposition, plusieurs voix s’élèvent pour demander aux deux hommes politiques de se réconcilier. Mais avec les dernières révélations faites par Seydou Guèye, le ministre porte parole du gouvernement sur Karim Wade et les propos de Doudou Wade sur les raisons du séjour de ce même ex ministre d’Etat au Qatar, on peut dire qu’il n’y a pas de possibilité de réconciliation entre Macky Sall et Me Abdoulaye Wade. Si comme l’a soutenu Seydou Guèye, l’Etat tient à ce que les milliards d’amende infligés à Karim Wade soient payés (la grâce ne fait pas disparaître la peine pécuniaire ), Karim encourt une contrainte par corps en débarquant au Sénégal. En tout cas entre l’actuel président et celui qui l’a précédé au palais de la République, toutes les issues d’une réconciliation sont à ce jour bloquées et l’on craint qu’à cause de Karim Wade, Macky et Me Wade ne se retrouveront plus jamais.
