Il y a un an, aux abords de la cité de la Grande Borne (Essonne), la violente attaque de policiers par un groupe de jeunes suscitait l’émoi. Point de départ d’un mouvement de grogne au sein des effectifs de sécurité publique, qui allait déboucher sur un plan national de renfort en moyens matériels et humains, l’attaque du 8 octobre 2016 a aussi déclenché un renforcement du dispositif sécurité dans la cité de 11.000 habitants, située à cheval sur les communes de Grigny et de Viry-Châtillon. Augmentation des effectifs de police, mobilisation de CRS en appui, déploiement d’un hélicoptère… «On est passé à un niveau supérieur d’occupation du terrain, assure au Monde la préfète de l’Essonne, Josiane Chevalier. L’idée est de démanteler les trafics de drogue.» «On a décuplé les opérations de saisie, on met en jeu l’hélicoptère deux ou trois fois par semaine et on envoie aussi des troupes au sol. Sur 2017, on estime qu’une centaine de kilos de résine de cannabis a déjà été saisie à la Grande Borne», jauge un officier de police.
