L’ancien chef d’Etat major de l’armée guinéenne sous la transition militaire, le général Nouhou Thiam et l’ex-gouverneur de Conakry, Sekou Resco Camara, sont convoqués au tribunal de première instance de Dixinn le 13 novembre 2017, suite à une plainte de civils pour des faits de torture pendant la transition militaire sous Sekouba Konaté.
En 2012, quinze victimes, appuyées par la FIDH et l’Organisation guinéenne des droits de l’homme (OGDH), ont déposé une plainte auprès de la justice guinéenne pour des tortures infligées contre elles à l’escadron mobile de la gendarmerie de Hamdallaye en 2010.
Les faits remontent effectivement à octobre 2010, quand plusieurs citoyens avaient été arrêtés, détenus et torturés.
A maintes reprises, les victimes ont réclamé justice mais Nouhou Thiam était en prison dans un autre dossier alors que M. Camara était gouverneur de la ville de Conakry.
Le troisième officier mis en cause est Aboubacar Sidiki Camara dit De Gaulle, ancien chef de la sécurité présidentielle du général Sekouba Konaté, mais il est décédé en 2014.
