La deuxième édition du grand bal de l’indépendance aura lieu à Montréal le 07 Avril 2018.
Cette initiative de Thiossane Production vise à promouvoir et à valoriser la culture sénégalaises à travers le monde.
Pour cette édition 2018, la lutte traditionnelle, le théâtre et la Musique seront représentés. “Le grand bal de l’indépendance sert aussi de pont culturel entre le Canada et l’Afrique. C’est un événement qui prend en compte les projets de développement endogène initiés par les femmes et incite en même temps les sénégalais de l’extérieur à investir au Sénégal pour créer des emplois”.
Au programme, il y aura des artistes comme Wally Balago, Thione Seck, le Groupe Soleil Levant, Mirma – Lion of Africa. Un hommage y sera rendu à Youssou Ndour. Les lutteurs invités sont : Balla Gaye, Sa Thiès, Ama Baldé et Siteu
