En plus de plusieurs présumés terroristes appréhendés, les services de renseignements sénégalais sont parvenus, dernièrement, à faire “capoter” un projet terroriste “imminent”.
Le Sénégal risquait gros. En effet, trois Djihadistes ont voulu attendre la tombée de la nuit, pour opérer “un attentat de grande ampleur” dans un hôtel de la Place. Mais cependant, les services de renseignements sénégalais, très alertes, sont vite avisés de l’opération.
Cette prouesse policière est réussie avec la collaboration des services américains du renseignement. Et ledit projet terroriste a été estampillé “imminent”.
C’est d’ailleurs cette situation qui a amené l’Ambassade américaine au Sénégal à sortir un communiqué, hier jeudi 19 octobre, pour inviter ses ressortissants vivants au Sénégal à prendre des mesures conservatoires de sécurité.
Cette information ne devait pas créer une situation de panique. L’affaire a donc été menée avec discrétion et minutie, comme souligné par L’Obs, lu par Actunet.
Les forces de sécurités indiquent, à propos du projet d’attentat, que “le projet terroriste dont les présumés auteurs, au nombre de trois, sont issus d’un pays voisin de la sous-région en proie à un conflit armé porté par des Djihadistes. Ces commandos avaient pour cible un réceptif hôtelier situé à Dakar. Les trois Djihadistes, qui ne seraient pas encore sur le territoire national, envisageaient d’opérer en duo et le troisième acolyte avait pour tâche de les convoyer à bon port sur le sol sénégalais”.
