“Je crois que la position de protéger les anciens chefs d’Etat est une position correcte. Et précisément je félicite Alpha Condé qui m’a suggéré qu’il n’accepterait aucune demande d’extradition de Yahya Jammeh. Moi non plus je ne l’accepterai pas”, a expliqué le Président Obiang Nguema. “Nous sommes complètement d’accord qu’il faut protéger Yahya Jammeh, il faut le respecter comme ancien chef d’Etat d’Afrique. Car c’est une garantie pour que les autres chefs d’Etat qui doivent quitter le pouvoir n’aient pas peur des harcèlements qu’ils pourraient subir après”, a-t-il affirmé.
