“Les opérations militaires menées par les forces armées du Mali et du Burkina Faso afin de contrer la présence croissante de groupes armés islamistes dans le centre du Mali ont occasionné de graves violations des droits humains”, a déclaré dans un communiqué l’organisation de défense des droits de l’homme.
L’organisation a déclaré que les forces maliennes avaient commis des exécutions extrajudiciaires, des disparitions, des tortures et des arrestations arbitraires contre des hommes accusés de soutenir des islamistes.

Selon Human Right Watch, deux suspects ont été tués dans une opération transfrontalière menée par les forces burkinabé en juin dernier.
“Depuis la fin de 2016, les forces maliennes se sont livrées à des meurtres extrajudiciaires, à des disparitions forcées, à des actes de torture et à des arrestations arbitraires à l’encontre d’hommes accusés de soutenir les groupes armés islamistes”, dénonce HRW.
