«Certes la Mauritanie a une mer poissonneuse mais elle n’a pas de pêcheurs. Donc, c’est anormal qu’elle impose sa loi au Sénégal», tonne Macoumba Dièye, un pêcheur saint-louisien, interrogé par Rfm.
Sur les mêmes ondes, Abdoulaye Ndao pointe, pour sa part, la vente de licences de pêche à 52 bateaux étrangers. Il dit : «Pour faire taire les pêcheurs sénégalais, ils (leur) ont donné des moteurs. D’ailleurs, ce sont des moteurs de mauvaise qualité. Les réparateurs en ont des tonnes car chaque jour il y a un pêcheur qui amène le sien en réparation.»
