Le ministre nord-coréen des Affaires étrangères accuse le Président Trump d’avoir «déclaré la guerre» à son pays, par des propos tenus au cours du week-end. Ri Yong-ho a ajouté que Pyongyang se réservait le droit de riposter, y compris en abattant des bombardiers américains qui ne se trouveraient pas dans son espace aérien.
«Toutes les options sont sur la table des opérations», a insisté le chef de la diplomatie nord-coréenne, reprenant ainsi mot pour mot les menaces américaines. L’escalade verbale entre les Etats Unis et la Corée du Nord a viré lundi à la pression militaire.
C’est lors d’une conférence de presse en marge de l’assemblée générale de l’ONU, que le ministre nord-coréen des Affaires étrangères a tenu ces propos. Ri Yong-ho a d’ailleurs pris les Etats membres à témoin: «Tous, dit-il, devraient clairement se rappeler que ce sont les Etats-Unis qui ont les premiers déclaré la guerre à notre pays».
