Le vice president de l’assemblée nationale Moustapha cissé lo va recevoir le grand prix du Crans Montana pour ses efforts soutenus pour l’integration africaine. Un choix qui honore le Sénégal et sa politique sous régionale.
C’est le vice-president de l’Assemblée nationale du Sénégal, par ailleurs president du parlement de la communauté des états de l’Afrique de l’ouest, Moustapha Cissé Lo, qui va être l’attraction du sommet mondial du Crans Montana, dans la region de Dakhla au Maroc.
Il a été choisi pour recevoir le grand prix du Crans Montana, pour ses actions et efforts pour la communauté lors de ce sommet dont l’ouverture sera présidée par Sa Majesté le Roi Mouhammed 6 roi du Maroc. Ce prix instauré depuis 1989, décerné chaque année à une personnalité, a déjà porté au pinacle des autorités tels que Boutros Boutros Ghali ancien secrétaire general de l’Onu ou encore Feu Yasser Arafat dirigeant palestinien et prix Nobel de la paix, le reverend Jesse Jackson, ou encore l’astronaute Cheikh Modibo Diarra, Hamid Karzai du Pakistan entre autres.
Cet événement annuel mondial est devenu incontournable pour tous les décideurs de la planète. Plus 1500 participants venus de 135 pays y prennent part. Au-delà des grandes problématiques essentielles du développement global, le Forum de Dakhla 2018 verra un certain nombre d’Initiatives se mettre en place dont : Une Conférence sur la gestion urbaine globale, le nouveau défi de l’Afrique qui rassemblera les grandes métropoles africaines ; Un grand panel sur l’Economie des Océans et le Secteur Halieutique, filière stratégique pour l’Afrique, avec un accent sur l’Initiative de la Ceinture Bleue ; Une Conférence sur la Route de la Soie en Afrique et les Partenariats Afro-Asiatiques.
