L’élection présidentielle prévue samedi a été de nouveau reportée dans les bastions de l’opposition en raison des violences qui ont fait huit morts depuis jeudi dans le pays. La date limite du scrutin a été fixée à mardi.
La confusion la plus totale régnait samedi 28 octobre au Kenya, deux jours après une présidentielle marquée par une participation en berne et des violences dans les bastions de l’opposition qui ont conduit par deux fois au report des opérations de vote dans l’ouest du pays.
Depuis jeudi et la nouvelle présidentielle organisée après l’invalidation par la justice de la réélection du président sortant Uhuru Kenyatta en août, le pays a les yeux rivés sur les chaînes d’information qui alternent les directs sur les violences et sur les opérations de dépouillement de la Commission électorale (IEBC).
