Rohingyas : la Chine joue les médiateurs entre la Birmanie et le Bangladesh

Plus de 600 000 musulmans Rohingyas vivent toujours dans des campements insalubres dans le sud du Bangladesh. La majorité a fui cet été les violences militaires dans leurs villages dans l’Etat de l’Arakan en Birmanie. Aujourd’hui, Pékin se propose comme médiateur et affirme que la Birmanie et le Bangladesh auraient accepté son plan de paix.

Première étape du plan chinois : un cessez-le-feu dans l’Etat de l’Arakan, qui permettrait de stopper l’exode des musulmans Rohingyas. Dans un deuxième temps, la communauté internationale doit encourager la Birmanie et le Bangladesh à négocier «une solution réalisable». Et puis, la troisième étape consisterait à travailler sur le plus long-terme avec un plan de lutte contre la pauvreté.

Pékin se dit prêt à y mettre du sien et promet son soutien à la Birmanie, isolée sur la scène internationale. La Chine y sera gagnante car plus ce pays voisin sera stable, plus les entreprises chinoises pourront exploiter ses riches ressources en pétrole et en gaz. Déjà aujourd’hui, la Chine est le premier investisseur en Birmanie et compte faire de ce pays ami l’une des clés de voûte de ses «nouvelles routes de la soie».

En avril dernier, les deux pays se sont mis d’accord pour faire transiter chaque année jusqu’à 22 millions de tonnes de pétrole brut via un nouvel oléoduc. Ce conduit doit permettre aux Chinois d’importer leur pétrole directement par l’océan indien en contournant le détroit de Malacca, moins sûr.

I am not saying your content isn’t good., however suppose you added a headline to maybe grab a person’s attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they write post titles to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it might make your blog a little livelier.
