L’accident a été causé par un bus en partance pour Diaobé qui a violemment percuté des passagers d’un autre bus tombé après l’éclatement d’un de ses pneus à une trentaine de kilomètres de Tambacounda, selon pressafrik.com. Cet accident qui survient 24 heures après celui de Tataguine où 7 personnes ont perdu la vie, a fait 31 blessés.
