Six Baye Fall sont depuis avant-hier sous mandat de dépôt à la maison d’arrêt et de correction de Louga. Ils ont battu à mort un voleur. C’était le jour de la Tamkharit dans la cité religieuse de Sikory.
En effet, selon les sources du journal L’Observateur, lu par Actunet.net, il s’agit de six Baye Fall qui ont battu à mort un individu non encore identifié dans la nuit du samedi au dimanche.
Mbaye Bâ, responsable du Daara, est réveillé par un bruit étrange venant de l’enclos. Se tirant de son lit, armé d’un gourdin, il se dirige sur la pointe des pieds vers l’endroit où est attaché le cheval.
C’est là qu’il a senti la présence d’un individu dans la pénombre en train de détacher le cheval. Il assène au voleur un coup violent à la mâchoire. C’est par la suite que Mbaye Bâ va ameuter ses condisciples qui n’ont pas tardé à rappliquer.
Décidé à lui administrer une sévère correction, ces derniers ont ligoté le voleur et lui ont fait subir un supplice de tantale. Et c’est là que l’irréparable s’est produit. Le voleur sera retrouvé le lendemain sans vie.
Les disciples se résolvent à en informer leur marabout qui, à son tour avisera les éléments de la Brigade de la gendarmerie de Darou Mousty. Après le constat d’usage, les hommes en bleu ont mis aux arrêts le responsable du Daara et les cinq disciples qui ont participé à la bastonnade.
Interrogé, Mbaye Bâ a reconnu avoir donné un coup fatal au voleur, et ses condisciples aussi ont reconnu leur implication. Ils sont tous déférés et placés sous mandat de dépôt.
L’identité du défunt n’a pas encore été révélée.
