Le Sénégal prend part au sommet de l’ITU Telecom World qui s’est ouvert ce lundi 25 septembre 2017 à Busan, en Corée du Sud.
Au premier jour du forum mondial des TIC, le pavillon Sénégal a reçu la visite du Monsieur Houlin Zhao, Secrétaire général de l’Union Internationale des Télécommunication (IUT), accompagné d’une forte délégation.
Le patron de l’IUT a été accueilli, avec tous les honneurs, par Monsieur Abdou Karim Sall Directeur général de l’Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications et des Postes (ARTP) et Monsieur Cheikh Bakhoum, Directeur général de l’Agence de l’Informatique de l’État (ADIE).
Par la suite, les responsables de la délégation sénégalaise ont assisté à la cérémonie d’ouverture officielle de l’ITU Telecom world 2017, présidée par le ministre sud-coréen en charge du développement des TIC.
En effet, le Sénégal est représenté à l’ITU Telecom Word 2017 par une forte délégation, composée des représentants de la Primature, du Ministère de la Communication, des Postes, des Télécommunications et de l’Economie numérique, du Ministère de la Promotion des Investissements, des Partenariats et du Développement des Téléservices de l’État, de l’ARTP, de l’ADIE et du secteur privé national.
Ce rendez-vous de haut niveau est un moment important d’échanges dans le domaine des Télécommunications et des TIC et cadre parfaitement avec les objectifs de la stratégie nationale «Sénégal Numérique 2025».
La délégation sénégalaise, comme lors des précédentes éditions, va participer à des panels sur les évolutions technologiques dans le monde du numérique, visiter des stands, échanger sur les bonnes pratiques et nouer des contacts avec des partenaires potentiels.
Le pavillon Sénégal permettra, entre autres, à notre pays de présenter ses réalisations et principaux projets structurants dans le domaine du numérique.
La particularité, cette année, est le «Networking Lunch» (déjeuner d’affaires) qu’offre le Sénégal, ce mardi 25 septembre 2017, pour vendre, à nouveau, sa candidature au conseil de l’UIT.
