La crise a atteint son sommet au Réseau des enseignants de l’Alliance pour la République (Apr). C’est durant ce weekend que son coordonnateur “contesté”, Youssou Touré, a présidé leur Conseil national. Au même moment, ses pourfendeurs, avec son adjoint Amath Suzanne Camara en tête, étaient en réunion dans un hôtel de la place. Une rencontre durant laquelle ils ont pris la résolution de se pré- senter aux prochaines législatives sous leur propre bannière. Cela résulte de la frustration causée par la présence des autorités de l’Apr au Conseil pré- sidé par Youssou Touré. «Nous prenons acte de la présence des autorités du parti à ce prétendu Conseil national et considérons cet acte comme une bénédiction pour nos adversaires. En consé- quence, nous prenons notre destin en main et déclarons ici, solennellement, que nous irons aux législatives sous notre propre bannière», ont décidé les camarades d’Amath Suzanne Camara. Ils ont aussi précisé que les autorités du parti ont tenté une médiation à quelques minutes du démarrage du Conseil de Touré. Mais c’était peine perdue avec le rassemblement organisé en parallèle par Camara et compagnie, qui ne pouvaient plus rejoindre le Conseil national. «Nous voudrions exprimer tout notre respect à leur endroit ainsi que notre regret de ne pouvoir donner une suite favorable à cette demande (se rendre au conseil), puisque les délégations, venues de différentes parties du pays, étaient déjà en place et le processus de validation du plan d’action déjà en cours (…). C’est donc en toute souveraineté que l’Assemblée a jugé nécessaire de poursuivre ses travaux et laisser les autorités trouver une solution à cette crise, selon leur “bon vouloir”, ont-ils dit. Non sans réaffirmer leur «ancrage dans le parti et derrière le Pré- sident Macky Sall». Pour accroître les chances de la coalition dénommée “Dekkal Ngor”, ses initiateurs ont lancé un appel particulier aux enseignants qui veulent soutenir Macky Sall, sans se retrouver dans les instances du parti. «Nous lançons un appel à toutes les personnes éprises de justice ainsi qu’à tous les frustrés de l’Alliance pour la République, à se préparer à se joindre à nous à travers cet appel historique».
