Responsable politique à la Sicap, Dr Fatou Ndiaye Dème a salué la visite du président de la République dans le cadre du lancement de la ré- habilitation de la cité Baraka pour le bien des populations auxquelles il s’évertue à donner «le sourire depuis son avène- ment à la tête du Sénégal». Elle indique que dans «une unité sacrée» au niveau de Sicap Liberté, l’Apr et la coalition Benno bokk yakaar sont plus que ja- mais mobilisées pour une vic- toire éclatante aux élections législatives du 30 juillet 2017. C’est pour donner le ton que les militants ont fait la démonstra- tion de force dans la mobilisa- tion pour l’accueil du président de la République au niveau de la cité Baraka. Une mobilisation qui s’est faite sous le sceau d’un «engagement de tous pour l’intérêt commun et non d’un intérêt individuel. Ce qui a été très bien réussi». «Il en sera ainsi jusqu’à l’atteinte de nos objectifs de donner au Président Macky Sall une majorité parlementaire avant de lui permettre d’accéder à son second mandat en 2019», a-t-elle promis, très satisfaite de la dynamique de ses partisans au niveau de la Sicap. Dans ce sens, elle appelle tous les militants de l’Apr en particulier et de la coalition Benno bokk yakaar, ainsi que tous les soutiens du Président Macky Sall à se donner la main, à se mobiliser et à descendre sur le terrain «pour mettre Ko cette opposition qui, au lieu de proposer un programme crédible aux Sénégalais, s’accrochent à des slogans inutiles». Selon Dr Dème, l’intégration de ce quartier dans le projet de restructuration et de modernisation des bidonvilles montre l’intérêt que le Président porte à «l’équité et à l’égalité» des populations. Car, «avec les parte- naires, les habitants de Baraka vont retrouver leur dignité. C’est un rêve de plus de 20 ans qui va se réaliser pour ces populations des Sicap», a-t-elle soutenu.
