D’aucuns affirment que le Parti socialiste (Ps) est un patrimoine national. Ils fondent leurs arguments sur des faits simples. Première formation politique du Sénégal fondée en 1948, il est devenu par la force choses parti unique de 1960 à 1974 quand le Président Senghor s’était accordé à mettre en branle un multipartisme limité à quatre courants.
Mieux, cette formation politique a dirigé le Sénégal pendant quarante longues années. De ce fait, des familles entières ont suivi le Ps et leurs progénitures sont nées pour également devenir socialistes de cœur. Malheureusement, ce parti est fortement miné par de profondes contradictions au point que les principaux responsables ont l’initiative de commettre un «homicide politique volontaire». Autrement dit, Khalifa Sall, Aïssata Tall Sall, Bamba Fall, Barthélemy Dias, Madiop Diop, Palla Samb et bien d’autres vont se faire exclure de leur parti politique. La raison est connue de tout le monde.
C’est parce qu’ils souhaitent ne pas être des accompagnants du Président qui a renversé Me Abdoulaye Wade en 2012. Aussi, veulent-ils voir leur formation politique briguer la magistrature suprême à l’occasion de la présidentielle de 2019. Ils pourront certainement le faire, mais pas en qualité de membres du Ps. Du moins, jusqu’à ce que leur exclusion soit prononcée de manière officielle.
C’est donc dire qu’ils sont encore membres de cette formation politique, même si encore une fois, le Secrétariat exécutif tout comme les Secrétaires généraux de coordinations ont purement et simplement demandé leur exclusion. En attendant que cela se fasse, des dissidents comptent se rendre à la Maison du Parti socialiste (Ps). Ceci, pour y organiser une réunion politique. C’est ce qu’a appris actunet de sources dignes de foi. D’ailleurs, l’un de ses «rebelles» a fait savoir à actunet ceci : «Nous allons bel et bien tenir une rencontre à la permanence nationale de notre formation le Parti socialiste (Ps). Aucun responsable n’est derrière nous pour nous demander de faire ceci ou cela. Nous sommes encore des militants et responsables du Ps et avons le droit de nous rendre chez nous, c’est-à-dire à la Maison du parti.»
À la question de savoir si le groupe des Bamba Fall et autres Barthélemy Dias sont concernés par un tel déplacement, notre interlocuteur préfère maintenir le suspens. «En tout cas, tout le monde verra. Nous sommes des socialistes, mais nous sommes des souteneurs de Khalifa Sall. Nous tiendrons notre réunion là-bas comme le font les autres militants qui soutiennent l’autre camp. C’est cela la démocratie dans un parti.»
Ce qui est sûr, on verra bien ce qu’il se passera…surtout que notre interlocuteur affirme qu’ils vont se conformer aux textes en avisant qui de droit pour voir s’il leur sera autorisé ou non de tenir leur rencontre en tant que militants et responsables socialistes. Senghor jugera…
