Le comité électoral de la coalition «Initiative 2017» a été installé dans le dé- partement de Kaolack. Composée de l’AD Pencco, Fsd/Bj, une sensibilité du Parti socialiste (Ps), Taxawu Dakar, Vision Dakar et les autres partis de Manko, la nouvelle coalition a désigné Diockel Gadiaga, l’ancien coordonnateur du Ps et Benno ak Tanor à Kaolack, comme nouveau coordonnateur départemental de ladite coalition. Le poste de la commission anti-fraude a été attribué au responsable politique, Birame Ndiaye. Le conseiller politique du maire de Dakar, Moussa Taye, a procédé à l’installation de ces deux leaders, mais le bureau sera élargi avec la mise en place d’autres commissions stratégiques en direction des législatives prochaines.
