Ousmane Faye s’est montré particulièrement dévastateur à l’endroit de la coalition Mankoo taxaw Senegaal qui, à ses yeux, tente de «leurrer» les Sénégalais. Interpelé sur la constitution de cette coalition électorale, le coordonnateur de Mankoo wattu Senegaal 2017 a, d’emblée, exhorté les populations à ne point attacher d’importance à ce groupe dont «la plupart a été épinglé par la Cour de répression de l’enrichissement illicite» (Crei). Optimiste, le secrétaire général du Psdr Jant bi fait confiance à la vigilance du peuple séné- galais pour ne pas «créer une instabilité ou même une crise politique en votant pour ladite association» qui «ne propose rien qui puisse être bénéfique aux populations sénégalaises». Le coordonnateur du Front pour la défense de la République (Fpdr) soutient que le manifeste constituant l’unité de la coalition Mankoo taxaw Senegaal prouve à suffisance la «malhonnêteté» de ses membres. Parce que même si «par extraordinaire» ils remportaient les élections législatives, le Pré- sident aura toujours le monopole de la promulgation des lois. Ousmane Faye demande «encore» à Me Abdoulaye Wade de ne pas accepter de se faire «humilier» dans ces élections en y participant. Car «ce qu’il a fait en tant que Président ne mérite pas qu’il finisse mal». D’ailleurs, Ousmane Faye se dit convaincu qu’au soir du 30 juillet prochain, les Sénégalais assisteront à une «refonte totale et radicale» de la classe politique en générale et de cette opposition regroupée au sein de Mankoo taxaw Senegaal en particulier. Selon lui, «seule la vigilance des Sénégalais pourra faire face à leur initiative individualiste».
