Au sortir du dépôt de leur recours pour excès de pouvoir de l’arrêté du ministre de l’Intérieur sur le parrainage à la Cour suprême, Abdoul Mbaye a été interpellé sur la sortie de Macky Sall disant qu’un sondage le placerait vainqueur de l’élection présidentielle avec un taux de 54%. Selon lui, le président de la république en faisant une telle déclaration se place dans l’illégalité. «Qu’ il nous dise de quel sondage il s’agit et comment il l’a organisé. Malheureusement on est dans un pays où la loi est souvent bafouée », a déclaré le président de l’ACT.
Pour lui, le régime en place veut recourir à la fraude pour remporter l’élection présidentielle prochaine. « Quand on les entend chanter sur tous les toits qu’ils vont passer au premier tour, on sait ce qu’ils veulent faire », prévient Abdoul Mbaye.
