Au total 457 fréquences radio et 31 chaînes de télévision, ont été attribuées à ce jour au Sénégal par l’Autorité de régulation des télécommunications et postes du Sénégal (Artp), a révélé mercredi à Dakar, son directeur général, Abdou Karim Sall.
“Nous avons attribué aujourd’hui 457 fréquences pour 276 radios, réparties comme suit : 222 radios communautaires, 48 commerciales et 6 radios internationales”, a expliqué Sall, au cours d’un séminaire de vulgarisation des procédures liées à la gestion des fréquences.
“Pour ce qui concerne la télévision, nous avons attribué au total 147 canaux, ce qui correspond à 31 chaines de télévision”, a-t-il ajouté, soulignant l’épuisement des fréquences pour la région de Dakar, la capitale.
Le séminaire a pour thème : “Procédures d’attribution des fréquences : enjeux et nouveaux défis”.
