La rencontre à pour but d’échanger sur le contenu et la qualité des sketchs diffusés durant le mois de ramadan. La rencontre réunit une trentaine de participants, responsables de la réalisation au sein des télévisions, producteurs indépendants, artistes comédiens et techniciens. Dans le but de formuler des normes sur les dimensions suivantes qui entrent en compte dans la création et la production des contenus : la sémiologie, le scénario, la réalisation technique, la place de la publicité.
Les échanges ont porté sur la qualité des contenus diffusés par les télévisions et leurs responsabilités. D’après le comédien Ibrahima Mbodj alias Lamarana, lui et ses camarades doivent accepter qu’il existe des manquements dans le contenu, sur le plan artistique, sur le plan de la réalisation. ‘’J’attends beaucoup de choses de cette rencontre parce que, être dans un séminaire qui regroupe des experts comme Mamadou Ball, Khar Fall, Tapha Diop est pour moi une chance. Cela va nous permettre de comprendre les réalités mais surtout d’améliorer notre travail’’, a-t-il dit. Pour lui, si le Cnra organise depuis 2015 des séminaires, c’est dû au manque de qualité des sketchs produits et diffusés durant le mois du ramadan. C’est pourquoi, poursuit-il, ‘’cette année, je n’ai pas réalisé mon film sur le ramadan. On n’a jamais vu une production de ramadan diffusée sur Canal+ ou sur les autres chaînes africaines. Donc cela mérite réflexion de notre part nous, acteurs et producteurs’’.
Selon Jeanne Lopy Sylla, membre du CNRA, ils en sont à leur 4e rencontre autour des productions de télévision. C’est que, depuis 2015, ils ont constaté un nombre incalculable de sketchs pendant le ramadan et sur pratiquement toutes les chaînes. ‘’On a été interpellé par la qualité du contenu de ce qu’on voyait dans ces sketchs, par exemple dans un ndogu, quelqu’un met le pied dans la nourriture ; c’est choquant. Ce sont des éléments objectifs et qui n’ont pas été créés par le Cnra mais qui ont été vus à la télévision et les medias ont aussi un rôle éducatif. Si la population aime cela, il faut le faire avec de la qualité.’’
Par ailleurs, de l’avis de l’expert audiovisuel Mamadou Baal, un contenu audiovisuel doit servir à quelque chose à chaque fois qu’on montre un programme. ‘’Un contenu doit servir à la formation de quelqu’un de façon insidieuse ; il faut que cela soit utile’’, a-t-il conclu.
