Depuis quelque mois, circuler à Dakar est devenu difficile à cause des embouteillages monstres dans de nombreuses artères de la capitale. En effet, sur 450.000 voitures qui sont immatriculées au Sénégal, selon la direction des transports terrestres, 300.000 circulent à Dakar.
Il y a quelques années, c’était un luxe que d’avoir une voiture. Aujourd’hui grâce aux vendeurs de véhicules venant d’Europe, les Sénégalais se procurent de plus en plus des bagnoles. De ce fait, disposer d’une voiture est devenue une nécessité. Avec 1 million ou moins on peut acquérir une caisse.
Pour cela, les banques mettent des prêts à la disposition de travailleurs qui souhaitent avoir des véhicules. Cette situation crée des embouteillages monstres dans de nombreux axes stratégiques de la capitale.
Il est 8h, sur la route nationale qui connaît un bouchon. Sur l’autoroute à péage, s’aligne une longue file de véhicule. Les voitures ont du mal à bouger. La situation est la même un peu partout.
Sur constat, on dénombre de nombreux conducteurs qui se plaignent à tout moment. Avec la construction de l’autoroute à péage, nous pensions qu’il n’y aurait plus de problème, mais la situation est pire.
Les causes de ces embouteillages sont multiples. Il y a le dense trafic, les chocs multiples, les pannes occasionnées au milieu ou sur le bas de la chaussée.
