, the article (and Gingrich's statement) left me with a number of questions.1) What rights do a cultural groups have to land, political, power, etc. and how do things like the length of time a culture has persisted in an area impact these issues?2) Do the Palestinians need to assert their existence as a "culture" in order to vie for the right to form a state, or can they demand this privilege/right acting as a group of individuals whose interests diverge significantly from those of Israel, Jordan, or Syria?Interesting article and thoughtful replies….

I too have noticed a problem with the 02 signal on my mobile. We all use 02 here in a little village in North Scotland because it has always had excellent coverage. Recently however there have been days I can’t get a signal at all, which is really unusual and very annoying.

It just dawned on me (ach, isn't that picture inspirational!) that what's happening to North Korean people is, in a way, worse than the situation in Syria or Iran. They're virtually invisible.Must remember that next time some kind soul uses the words "world's largest open-air prison".
