En collaboration avec le Pnud, l’Ofnac a rendu public hier, un rapport d’étude sur la perception et le coût de la corruption au Sénégal. Réalisé par le cabinet Synchronix, le document a soulevé que la Police, la Gendarmerie, la Santé et la l’éducation sont les secteurs les plus corrompus et les zones de Diourbel, Sédhiou et Tambacounda restent les régions où la corruption est plus active.
L’étude est réalisée du 25 mai au 20 juillet 2017, sur l’ensemble du territoire. Il révèle que 93% des Sénégalais disent connaître des pratiques de corruption. Concernant l’environnement de la corruption, le document présente une bonne présence de celle-ci dans l’univers des sénégalais. 95,3% dans le grand public et 61,7% chez les professionnels, attestent la présence de la corruption dans leur environnement immédiat.
“Le secteur public est perçu comme celui où les cas de corruption sont les plus nombreux (93%). Les sous-secteurs du public les plus touchés sont la Sécurité publique, constituée de la Police et de la Gendarmerie (95,9%), la Santé (29,2%), et l’Education (26,1%)”, a détaillé le document.
