La Ligue Sénégalaise des Droits Humains (L.S.D.H) condamne fermement la répression systématique et démesurée des marches et manifestations pacifiques organisées au Sénégal sous le prétexte d’arrêtés d’interdiction préfectoraux.
A travers un communiqué parvenu à Actunet, la Lsdh appelle de nouveau l’État du Sénégal à garantir les libertés publiques fondamentales consacrées et garanties par la Constitution et les Conventions Internationales ratifiées par le Sénégal.
La Lsdh appelle en outre les autorités administratives à se conformer aux différents arrêts rendus à ce jour par la Cour Suprême du Sénégal rappelant que l’impératif de maintien de l’ordre public doit être concilie avec l’exigence d’un respect des libertés fondamentales consacrées et garanties par la Constitution.
