Selon «The Fatu Network», les restes de Solo Sandeng ont été achavés à Dakar pour un examen médicolégal. La justice gambienne veut savoir si les restes exhumés sont bien du responsable de l’opposition. Les médecins sénégalais vont ainsi identifier le corps pour confirmer ou infirmer s’il s’agit de Solo Sandeng. Les juges doivent sûrement attendre les résultats de l’identification médico-légale pour poursuivre le procès qui a commencé depuis plusieurs mois. A rappeler que Solo Sandeng avait dirigé le 14 avril 2016 passé une marche pacifique de l’opposition pour exiger des réformes électorales. Il a été arrêté par les forces de l’ordre. Il a succombé à la suite des tortures dont il a été victime.
