La pêche a été bonne pour les éléments de la Brigade régionale des stupéfiants de Tambacounda qui relève de l’OCRTIS. Dans le cadre d’une opération de lutte contre l’usage et le trafic de drogue, ils ont saisi 65 kilogrammes de chanvre indien. D’après un communiqué du bureau des relations publiques de la police, la drogue a été prise sur le sieur A. Diallo, à bord d’une moto super N°1. Il l’avait mise dans trois sacs.
Le suspect a été ‘’trahi’’ par une personne anonyme qui a révélé l’existence d’un intense trafic de chanvre indien sur l’axe Bignona-Kolda-Tambacounda. Munis de cette information, le reste n’était qu’un jeu d’enfants pour les policiers qui ont mis en place un dispositif de surveillance sur le trajet indiqué, et mené leurs investigations aux fins d’identifier et interpeller les mis en cause.
A l’image de leurs collègues de Tambacounda, les éléments de la brigade de recherches du Commissariat Central de Thiès ont également mis la main sur du chanvre indien. Il s’agit de 47 kg saisie sur le nommé A. Dramé, au moment de la livraison, à hauteur du village de Kissan sur la route de Sindian. Lors de la perquisition à son domicile situé à Saly, les hommes du commissaire Camara ont découvert la drogue conditionnée en paquets d’un kilo et mis dans des sacs de couleur blanche. Un autre individu a été interpellé dans le cadre de cette opération visant à lutter contre la délinquance. Tous les mis en cause sont gardés à vue en attendant que l’enquête se termine.
