Le Gamou annuel de Taïba Niassène est célébré ce jeudi 13 avril 2017. Actuellement, les fidèles ou talibés Baye commencent à rallier la cité religieuse où l’événement religieux se tiendra, la nuit du jeudi au vendredi. Le ministre de l’Éducation nationale, Serigne Mbaye Thiam, va présider dans l’après midi la cérémonie officielle. En prélude à cette cérémonie, il va aussi procéder à la pose de la première pierre du nouveau Daara moderne de ladite localité.
