Une situation alarmante prévaut à Tatène sérère, village niché dans la Commune rurale de Notto Diobas. Depuis plus de deux mois, la localité est confrontée à une grave pénurie d’eau. Le manque de liquide précieux dans cette contrée reculée est dû, selon le porte-parole du village, à la mauvaise pluviométrie de l’année dernière. Une situation qui est à l’origine du tarissement des puits du village. En plus de la faible pluviométrie, les populations pointent du doigt les mauvais branchements des bassins qui alimentent le village en eau. Désormais, pour se procurer la ressource vitale, les populations de Tatène, surtout les femmes, parcourent des kilomètres. C’est ce que renseigne le porte-parole du village Mamadou Mbade Sène, qui indique que les habitants de la localité menacent de passer à la vitesse supérieure si la situation n’est pas rétablie d’ici les prochaines heures. Mamadou Mbade Sène demande également au ministre du Commerce et maire de la commune de Notto Diobas de leur venir en aide.
