Né le 15 juillet 1966 à Kolda, Moussa Fané a grandi en Gambie. Là-bas, dit-il, il a fait ses études en médecine traditionnelle et moderne, avant de poursuivre la « médecine à Freetown, capitale sierra léonaise, puis au Nigeria ». Après sa formation, ajoute-t-il, il est revenu au pays d’Adama Barrow pour pratiquer. « Depuis plus de 15 ans, je pratique ce métier et je nourris ma famille grâce à la médecine », a-t-il expliqué.
