Le président de l’ASC Linguère de Saint-Louis, Dr Ahmadou Dia, et le président directeur général du Holding Bouygues Corporation, Bougane Guèye Dany, ont signé mercredi un protocole d’accord sponsoring d’une durée de trois ans, a constaté l’APS.
La cérémonie de signature du partenariat s’est déroulée en présence de l’ancien président de la Linguère, Me Alioune Abatalib Guèye, des anciennes gloires et élites du football Saint-Louis, dont Malick Diallo, Insa Diagne, “Pelé bou Linguère”, Yatma Boye et de nombreux supporters.
Le président du groupe D-MEDIA, Bougane Gueye Dany, un natif de la ville de Saint-Louis, s’est engagé à soutenir l’équipe de la Linguère, pour qu’elle reprenne sa place dans le sport sénégalais.
Il a fait observer que le football n’est plus une affaire de mécénat, mais plutôt de business, compte tenu de la professionnalisation de la discipline.
Le président de la Linguère, Ahmadou dia, s’est de son côté réjoui de ce partenariat qui, selon lui, va permettre à son club de bénéficier de ressources financières pour son fonctionnement et son rayonnement.
Ce partenariat, qui vise à relever l’équipe, portera l’image du groupe Bouygues pour gagner en ressources financières. Dr dia a par ailleurs ajouté que le club fanion de la ville de Saint-Louis compte ériger sur son terrain de 4 hectares un complexe sportif moderne au profit des jeunes.
