L’attaquant sénégalais Keita Baldé a demandé à ne pas être comparé au jeune international français Kylian Mbappé, qui a quitté l’AS Monaco pour le Paris-Saint-Germain, rapporte le site du quotidien sportif français L’Equipe.
“Ne me comparez pas à Mbappé, ne me comparez à personne. J’ai mon propre style. (…) Si j’ai cette étiquette de phénomène, c’est que j’ai beaucoup travaillé dans ma carrière”, a dit l’international sénégalais lors de sa présentation à son nouveau club.
Selon la direction de l’AS Monaco, Baldé a été recruté pour jouer au poste d’attaquant, après la confirmation du départ de Mbappé pour le PSG.
L’attaquant sénégalais à la grande vitesse et aux dribbles déroutants n’entend pas pour autant se mettre une immense pression sur les épaules, selon le site de L’Equipe.
Keita Baldé, arrivé à Monaco pour 30 millions d’euros (environ 20 milliards de francs CFA), a bien tenu à faire la distinction entre lui et son prédécesseur à l’ASM, Kylian Mbappé.
Courtisé par plusieurs grandes écuries européennes, l’ancien attaquant de la Lazio a tenu à mettre les choses au clair concernant son transfert, selon la même source.
“On a beaucoup parlé des offres de l’Inter ou de la Juve, mais la seule offre concrète est venue de l’AS Monaco”, a-t-il précisé, qualifiant de “très positive” la présence de nombreux attaquants au club du Rocher.
