Cheikh Mbengue devrait quitter l’AS Saint-Étienne d’ici la fermeture du mercato en Turquie. Un accord aurait été trouvé pour le transfert du défenseur sénégalais.
Inscrit sur la liste de départ lors du mercato estival, Cheikh Mbengue n’avait pas eu de preneur jusqu’à la clôture du marché dans les grands championnats d’Europe. Cependant, le latéral gauche pourrait rebondir en Turquie où le marché reste ouvert jusqu’à vendredi minuit.
Si l’on en croit les informations de Fotospor, l’international sénégalais devrait rejoindre Fenerbahçe. Le club ligérien a trouvé un accord avec le club d’Istanbul pour M’Bengue d’après le média truc.
Arrivé libre dans le Forez à l’été 2016, le joueur de 29 ans est sous contrat avec les Verts jusqu’en juin 2019. Cependant, le nouvel entraineur Oscar Garcia ne compte pas sur lui. C’est ainsi que Cheikh Mbengue a été mis sur la liste des concernés par le dégraissage.
