L’Académie Génération Foot a remporté le Trophée des champions dominant le Stade de Mbour sur le score de 4-2, samedi au stade Caroline Faye de Mbour.
Menés au score d’entrée, les Académiciens ont pris le match en main, s’imposant à l’arrivée 4-2 avec notamment un doublé de leur attaquant Mamadou Lamine Guèye, élu meilleur joueur de la finale.
Le Trophée des champions oppose chaque année le champion au détenteur de la Coupe de la Ligue. C’est le second trophée d’avant saison que remporte Génération Foot, après la Super Coupe.
C’est le dernier rendez-vous avant le démarrage de la saison 2017-2018 prévu la semaine prochaine.
Champion en titre, Génération Football, lié à Metz (Ligue 1 française) par un partenariat, représentera le Sénégal en Ligue des champions.
