Agadir du Maroc, depuis hier soir pour les besoins des Championnats d’Afrique de Taekwondo (du 28 mars au 1er avril), les 19 Lions ont reçu, avant leur départ, le drapeau national des mains du président de la Fédération sénégalaise de taekwondo, Ibrahima Ba.
Le centre de perfectionnement du stade Léopold Sedar Senghor a été très petit hier pour accueillir fédéraux, parents et amis venus doper les 19 Lions en route pour Agadir, au Maroc. L’émotion et la pression se lisaient sur les visages des 19 combattants. Mais les discours de motivation et l’encouragement ont galvanise les 7 Lions du « poomsae » (démonstrations) et les 12 Lions en combats. Ils auront comme mission de reconquérir des médailles en terre marocaine.
